I draw organic patterns from the subconscious. I am inspired by the Azulejos and Armenian tiles with influence from the intricate details of Middle Eastern architecture to botanical gardens. I focus on the process of my practice. I begin a design with a natural desire for the unknown, to see what happens and to then experiment with the repetitiveness of re-designing and re-evaluating new ways to design the piece. My patterns are formed organically which allows for endless potential with no restrictions. What you see is not the first design, nor the last, simply the growth of a design, then finally inked and marked on paper or clay displayed in front of you. There is no beginning nor end simply the life that the design breathes at that moment.
